Leaves
10-22 cm x 3-7; chartaceous; elliptic or lanceolate; base acute, attenuate; apex acute; margin plane, remotely serrulate on apical half; glabrous, pale grey brown adaxially; glaucous, sparsely pubescent beneath with stiff, simple hairs; 8-13 vein pairs parallel, distantly spaced, prominent below and slightly so above, forming an angle of 45-60° with the midrib; petiole thin, 1-2 cm long, flat obove, sparsely tomentose;
Fruits
acorn ovoid to conical, 2-2.5 cm long, silky, glabrescent, with depressed apex and flat or impressed basal scar; cupule saucer-shaped with thick wall, tomentose, with 4-6 denticulate rings, covering 1/6 to 1/5 of fruit; from April to December;
