16-17 x 4.5-6 cm; deciduous; oboval-lanceolate or oblanceolate; apex attenuate, subacute; base narrowly rounded, attenuate; margin wavy, with apical 1/2 toothed with 4 pairs of obtuse teeth ; above hairless, dull blue-green; beneath with sparce whitish tomentum ; 10-12 vein pairs, at an angle of 42° with midrib ; petiole 8 mm long;

acorn ovoid, mucronate, silky; 3-4 together at the end of a 6-7 cm long peduncle ; enclosed 3/4 by cup; cup scaly, half-round, tomentose, 1 cm in diameter; matures first year;
