Additional Information
– A. Camus : n° 354; – Sub-genus Quercus, section Lobatae, Series Erythromexicanae; – Threatened (IUCN Red List Category : VU). – Very closely related (variety, subspecies, ecotype ?) to Q. seemannii (= Q. salicifolia subsp seemannii ) – For Burger, in 1977, Q.seemannii is a complex, because of its great variability, integrating probably Q. gulielmi-treleasei and Q. tonduzii. It is also the opinion of Francisco Morales in 2001. – See HERE to compare with other whole-leaved oaks .
